The Astana Department of the Anti-Corruption Agency of the Republic of Kazakhstan organized a visit to the correctional institution for compliance officers and their managers to familiarize themselves with the processes of anti-corruption control.

The purpose of the event is to promote an anti-corruption culture among compliance officers. Getting to know the conditions of detention of convicts will help officials understand the consequences of corruption in practice.

Heads and compliance officers of local executive bodies, state bodies, joint-stock companies and limited liability companies, which were subjected to an external analysis of corruption risks in 2023-2024, visited the correctional institution. The held meeting is an important part of the training process aimed at forming a comprehensive approach to the fight against corruption.
