Nauryz holiday was widely celebrated in Korgalzhyn district. A theatrical performance, an award ceremony, sports competitions and a concert were organized as part of the celebration.

Akim of Akmola region Marat Akhmetzhanov congratulated local residents on the spring holiday and noted that Nauryz is a symbol of renewal, unity and prosperity. He said that not only national traditions are inaugurated in Korgalzhyn district, but also special importance is given to socio-economic development. In this regard, the construction of the highway connecting Astana with the Trans-Caspian international transport corridor through Arkalyk, Torgay and Yrgyz will begin. This, in turn, will undoubtedly give new impetus to the development of the region. Important social and infrastructure projects are being implemented in the region. All this is aimed at improving the quality of life of the people and creating favorable conditions", noted the akim of the region.

On the occasion of the holiday, the head of the region congratulated Maken Baspaeva, a 100-year-old resident of Korgalzhyn district, and expressed her good wishes. In turn, he thanked and blessed the person who created the century.

Also, the akim of the region presented a letter of thanks to the citizens who contributed to the development of the region and handed over the keys to a new car to the regional culture department. Marat Akhmetzhanov visited nine yurts dedicated to culture, history and traditions of the Kazakh people.
