Deputy akim of Turkestan region Yertai Altayev met with representatives of the religious administration of Muslims of Kazakhstan. Issues in the field of spirituality were discussed at the meeting. At the same time, ways of opening an Islamic Institute for improving the education of KMDB imams in the city, developing a Roadmap for systematizing the work of the institute, creating and approving the staff structure, monitoring the qualifications of mosque employees in the region, and training courses for improving their qualifications as needed were differentiated.

The deputy akim of the region offered to consider the possibility of registering the said center as a research institute.

- Currently, the importance of improving the education and qualifications of employees in the field of religion has increased. That's why you should start mobilizing experts and speakers in the fields of religion, history, culture, philosophy and other sciences, known in the republic, for advanced training courses. In the near future, conferences will be held at the international level to glorify the legacy of Khoja Ahmet Yasawi, and I recommend considering the wide use of their conclusions in the work. "I believe that by receiving lectures from strong theologians and professors in Turkestan, the education of religious workers will improve and the level of quality service to the country will increase," said Ertai Kenzhebekul.

Hasan Amankulov, the head of the Department of Religious Rehabilitation of the Religious Administration of Muslims of Kazakhstan (KMDB), noted that Turkestan has a special place as the spiritual center of Kazakhstan, and that the soon-to-be-opened institute will become a center that will boost the education of imams in the region. expressed.

The said institute is expected to be commissioned this year. In this center, it is planned to carry out scientific research on the works and teachings of Khoja Ahmet Yasawi, to improve the knowledge of the religious imams of Turkestan, Zhambyl, Kyzylorda, Ulytau regions and the city of Shymkent. At the same time, it is planned to teach history, classical works, and increase the ability to explain religious issues. Religious scholars and theologians give lectures here.
