Nauryz holiday was celebrated in Uskemen with great pomp, and became the main holiday that reveals the renewal of spring and the unity of the people. City residents and guests enjoyed a festive atmosphere full of national traditions, interesting games and impressive performances.

The main site of the celebration was a yurt town consisting of 15 traditional Kazakh yurts. The guests who came here tasted national dishes and learned about the culture and lifestyle of their ancestors. A feature of the town was the construction of the largest yurt house in Kazakhstan, for 500 people.

More than 20 thousand people participated in this year's Nauryz holiday. Residents and guests of the city watched theatrical performances dedicated to the history and traditions of the Kazakh people.

One of the important events of the holiday was the craft exhibition. Here, craftsmen presented their handmade products, national ornaments and clothes, and household items. Also, master classes were organized and anyone had the opportunity to learn traditional handicrafts.

For those who like national dishes, food courts worked. Fresh bagels were offered to the guests as part of "Bauyrsak Pati" and a special atmosphere of Kazakh hospitality was created.

At the agricultural fair, farmers of the region presented their products - meat, milk, vegetables and fruits. This event not only created a festive mood, but also provided an opportunity to support local entrepreneurs.

Sports competitions were organized for those who like active recreation. Among them, shooting, kookpar, Kazakh wrestling, tug-of-war and other national games were of particular interest.

Nowryz holiday in Uskemen is not limited to one day. According to the specially developed program, festive events will continue in small districts and villages of the city.
