Nauryz, a long-standing holiday of the Kazakh people, coincides with the arrival of spring, the equinox of day and night, and the awakening of Mother Nature.

Nauryz means "New Day" in Persian.  Kazakhs call this day the Great Day of the Nation.  The main dish of the holiday is Nauryz kozhe, which is prepared from seven different ingredients. 

Nowruz is a holiday of the beginning of the year, established since ancient times. According to the current calendar, it comes to the equinox.

Nauryz holiday was celebrated in Zainak Batyr rural district according to the tradition of the year. The villagers spread the table in the streets. Competing with traditions, art and various sports competitions, appropriate prizes were awarded to the places.
