276 fires were registered in the region during the heating season. The main causes of fires in SKO TJD experts have been noted by non-observance of fire safety rules when using electrical equipment, careless handling of fire and carelessness when using stoves. Also, it was said that this year there were frequent fires in residential buildings due to unsafe disposal of ash.

18 people died as a result of fires during the heating season. 21 people were injured due to toxic gas poisoning due to failure to clean the ovens on time and not complying with safety regulations. Rescuers are constantly working to prevent fires and stabilize the situation among residents. Thus, about 146,000 houses were informed. Violations of fire safety rules were detected in 33,000 houses, and as a result of the preventive measures of rescuers, the deficiencies in 44,000 houses were eliminated by the residents.

SHO TJD warns citizens to observe the following rules:

Wires and cables with a damaged or worn protective layer cannot be used;

Smoking and careless actions with fire are prohibited in the house and apartment;

Stoves must be used for at least three months. it is necessary to clean it once;

Do not leave burning stoves unattended, as well as entrust their control to children;

Stoves should not be overheated;

It is prohibited to use stoves with cracks or malfunctions;

Pour ash and slag from the stove into a specially designated place that is not a fire hazard and extinguish it with water.
