In Kazakhstan, the integration of all participants in the drug circulation in the system of digital marking and monitoring of medicines has been completed. Today, 19 domestic manufacturers, 276 wholesalers, more than 8,000 pharmacies and more than 1,900 medical organizations work in the system.

Large distributors imported 60.9 million packages of branded drugs. 46 million of them were put into circulation. Pharmacy organizations received 48.4 million packages, and the number of drugs withdrawn from circulation amounted to 29.2 million packages. packaging was marked, 76.8 mln. were put into circulation. At the same time, the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Kazakhstan implements regular monitoring of the timely acceptance and withdrawal of medicines in the information system of drug labeling and supervision (MPT IS).

For example, the situation at the end of March 2025 in medical organizations, the rate of release of labeled medicinal products was 53.2%, which is 17.1% higher than the indicators at the end of January. In the same period, withdrawal of labeled medicines from the circulation in pharmacy organizations increased by 24.3% and amounted to 60.3%.

In addition, the Ministry of Health is working with the labeling operator on training and consultation of circulation participants. continues systematic work, as well as the process of improving the analytical modules of information systems to increase the efficiency and transparency of control at all stages of drug circulation.
