In the framework of the Year of Prevention announced by the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan, inspectors of police station No. 12 of the Petropavlovsk city police department organized a meeting with the residents of "Kirpichny" subdistrict. The event was attended by representatives of the department of housing and communal services and employees of Kommunkhoz Petropavl LLP.

Current issues were discussed during the meeting. Residents expressed concern about the problem of stray dogs — this request was sent to the veterinary station. The police officers reminded that there is administrative responsibility for violating landscaping rules, and the representative of the utility service explained that garbage removal is carried out only if a contract is signed.

Special attention was paid to the prevention of cybercrimes: memos were distributed to the participants of the meeting with tips to avoid becoming victims of Internet fraudsters.

Such meetings help the police to respond quickly to the requests of citizens and solve local problems. The work of precinct inspectors requires a comprehensive approach - from legal control to interaction with state bodies.

Meetings with the public are regularly held on the territory of 14 precinct police stations in Petropavlovsk. Law enforcement agencies call on citizens to maintain law and order and to cooperate - only by joint action can security and comfort be ensured in every district.
