A republican seminar on the topic "Problems of heraldry of state symbols and departmental and other equivalent awards" was organized by the Heraldic Department of the Archive, Documentation and Book Affairs Committee of the Ministry of Culture and Information of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Heraldic Research Center. Majilis deputies and public figures took part.

The main purpose of the event is to discuss state symbols and heraldry of departmental awards, to promote them, to ensure compliance with national standards and legal requirements, as well as to unify the ceremony of awarding honest workers.

It should be noted that the Head of State touched upon the issue of heraldry several times at the National Congress. For example, at the National Congress held in Turkestan, the issue of systematization of regional symbols was raised, and at the recently held meeting in Burabay, he was instructed to organize departmental awards.

During the meeting, the issues of approving regional symbols in accordance with legal requirements and their unification, timely detection of violations of state symbols and taking appropriate measures, observance of the order of use of state symbols and national standards, as well as the celebration of the Day of State Symbols was discussed.
