Exercises were held in the Shemonaikha district to eliminate the plague of small ruminants
According to legend, a sheep died in one of the farms. Laboratory studies have confirmed the presence of small ruminant plague virus - a very dangerous and rapidly spreading disease.
Veterinary specialists, territorial inspectors, police, sanitary-epidemiological control and public health workers took part in the training. Actions during an outbreak of infection: diagnosis, isolation of the focus, demarcation of the boundaries of the unfavorable point, disinfection and prevention in the dangerous area.
According to the conclusion, the readiness of the veterinary service to act promptly and to effectively interact with other structures was confirmed.
