In the years of independence, more than 143,100 people immigrated to Mangistau region for permanent residence, which is 17.8 percent of the region's population.

Most of them came from Uzbekistan (51.6%), Turkmenistan (43.4%), Iran (1.7%), and other countries (3.3%).

As of April 1 of the current year, there are 33 families or 156 people received the status of relatives.

Of the citizens who received the status of relatives, 97 people are citizens of working age.

The number of citizens under 18 years old is 35 people, 24 people are citizens of retirement age.

By level of education: higher education - 5 people (5.1%), special secondary education - 9 people (9.3%). 81 (83.5%) citizens have a general average education.

In addition, the following labor shortage regions were identified for resettlement of relatives: Akmola, Abay, Kostanay, Pavlodar, Atyrau, West, East and North Kazakhstan regions.
