President of the Kazakhstan Bocce Federation Maulen Ashimbaev got acquainted with the progress of construction works and took part in the ceremony of laying the foundation of the sports center.

Maulen Ashimbaev noted that the construction of the said sports center in the capital is an important step towards creating a fair state. The head of state pays great attention to creating an inclusive society in the country and creating conditions that provide equal opportunities to citizens with disabilities. We believe that the new Inclusive Sports Center will become a place where athletes with disabilities can train without worry, prepare for international competitions and reach new heights. There are halls for bocce, basketball, wheelchair football, goalball, sitting volleyball and many other sports. This step allows our athletes to prepare for international competitions at a high level," Maulen Ashimbaev said.
