Court No. 2 of the city of Kyzylorda in December 2023 issued an indictment under clauses 1) and 2) of Section 2 of Article 194 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan against 4 members of a criminal group who took a resident of the regional center out of the city in their car with the use of force and threatened to kill him with 1 million tenge.

All members of the criminal group and their locations were identified and measures were taken to arrest them.

All detained persons were previously convicted of serious crimes. During the arrest, firearms and ammunition were found and taken from a member of the criminal group.

The court sentenced 3 defendants to 6 years in prison, and one member of the criminal group was sentenced to 3 years and 6 months in prison due to genuine remorse.
