The procurator of the Karaganda region Bauyrzhan Myrzakerov held an extended board meeting on the issues of compliance with the budget legislation and the law on public procurement.

The event was attended by the chairman of the regional maslikhat, deputy akim of the Karaganda region, heads of state and authorized bodies, as well as representatives of public organizations. emphasized the importance of implementation.

Over 9,000 violations of the law were detected in the field of public procurement and budget over three years. Unreasonable payments amount to 50 billion tenge, ineffective planning - 19 billion tenge. According to the prosecutor's office, 178 officials who did not timely apply to the court to recognize product suppliers as unscrupulous were administratively liable.

Since the beginning of the year, 13 purchases worth more than 5 billion tenge have been stopped due to the protest of the prosecutors. Estimates and overestimates in technical documentation exceeded 400 million tenge. Oblast prosecutor B. Myrzakerov emphasized the importance of the participation of deputies in the budget process and said, "it is necessary to expand the influence of maslikhats on the regional economy. I propose to jointly review the local budget formation and spending mechanisms," he noted.

The administration was advised of the need to strengthen control over the use of budget funds and to create an electronic platform to monitor unscrupulous suppliers.

Special attention was paid to the issues of budget planning and execution. Decisions should be based on a detailed analysis of the economic situation of the region and take into account the priority areas of investment.

According to the results of the meeting, tasks were given to authorized bodies and prosecutors of cities and districts, and future tasks were determined.
