The acceptance of documents for the first class will continue from April 1 to August 31, 2025. In the new school year, more than 370,000 Kazakhstani children will enter school, the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan reports.

According to the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan "On Education", children from the age of 6 are admitted to the first grade at the request of their parents. Documents can be submitted through the eGov mobile application and the electronic government portal, as well as in paper form - directly at schools. For this purpose, admission commissions work in all schools.

According to the information of JSC "National Information Technologies" of the State Ministry of Education and Culture of the Republic of Kazakhstan, this year the procedure for submitting documents on the eGov portal has been simplified. Now parents don't need to download medical certificates manually - information from the "Child Health Passport" and "Prophylactic Vaccination Card" are automatically obtained. If the medical certificates are not in the system, you can upload their scanned copies. It is also possible to view the status of the application and to return it with one button.

Applications are accepted from Monday to Friday, excluding holidays and weekends. After the request has been sent, the application review period is 1 working day.
