Prosecutor General of the Republic of Kazakhstan Berik Asylov: "When citizens take responsibility, reality changes"
15.04.2025 18:15:08 1926▫️Hundreds of villages across the country are voluntarily refusing to sell alcoholic beverages. This is a conscious choice of ordinary people. This is a decision made for order, health and the future of their children.
▫️For example, in a village in Mangistau district of Mangistau region, residents voluntarily refused to sell alcohol and published a video about it on social networks. Such examples can be found in Akmola, Zhambyl, Karaganda, Atyrau and other regions.
▫️Yes, considering the number of villages in the country, it may seem like a drop in the ocean. But the most important thing is the positive impact of these initiatives on society. The number of such settlements is increasing day by day. People began to value trust, stability, and peace and set an example for each other. In its implementation, coordination, prevention and security measures were provided by the prosecutor's office, police and local executive bodies.
▫️The rural entrepreneurs also deserve special thanks. Heeding the voice of their compatriots, they voluntarily removed alcohol from store shelves. Despite initial skepticism, success has not waned. On the contrary, instead of alcohol, the villagers began to buy healthy food for children more often.
🔹Today the results are clearly visible:
* crime has completely disappeared in some villages,
* domestic conflicts have stopped,
* young people have started to choose sports and a conscious lifestyle.
▫️This is a real manifestation of the "Law and Order" principle in life. Order is established not by fear - by trust, not by punishment - by a conscious choice.
▫️The head of state Kassym-Jomart Tokaev noted: "Law and Order are the foundation of a perfect democracy and the basis of a legal state." in three months, the number of crimes committed under the influence of alcohol decreased.
