In the Karatal rural district, the current repair work of the monument of the Great Patriotic War has started. The monument to the soldiers who participated in the Great Patriotic War was erected in September 1985. It is located in the center of Karatal village along Almabal Zhetpisbayovna street. On Victory Day - May 9, flowers are placed on the monument every year, where villagers of every generation gather to honor our compatriots who gave their lives for the Motherland, so the monument of the Great Patriotic War is an object that fosters a sense of patriotism in the younger generation. The main purpose of the reconstruction of the monument is to preserve the memorial structures in memory of the fallen soldiers who participated in the Great Patriotic War. Cultivating a sense of respect for the historical past, a sense of respect and love for one's roots, people of the older generation, and the Motherland.
