Police in Karagandy discovered a theft in a boutique
Despite the ubiquitous presence of CCTV cameras, boutique owners continue to face unpleasant situations such as a lack of goods. Thieves take advantage of moments when sellers are distracted and steal goods, sometimes with an astronomical price. As a proof of this, the incident with the 43-year-old owner of a jewelry boutique, who lost gold earrings worth 91 thousand tenge in August last year.
After seven months of hard work, the police tracked down and arrested the suspect - a 64-year-old resident of Karaganda. As it turned out, the retired woman was attracted by the shine of jewelry and could not resist the temptation, but her financial means were not enough to buy. Taking advantage of the moment when the seller turned his attention to another client, he put the earring in his pocket and left.
Currently, investigations are being carried out in this case.
