In the city of Koschy, in the "Lesnaya Polyana" housing estate, a regional Saturday was held within the framework of the republican "Clean Kazakhstan" environmental campaign. During the campaign, the territory of Kossy city was cleared of garbage, landscaping and beautification of public places were carried out.

The event was organized on the basis of the concept of "Honest person - Honest work - Honest income" and was conducted in the direction of encouraging the city's residents to be environmentally friendly. About 250 people took part in the cleaning event.  Among them were deputies of the city maslikhat, representatives of the "Amanat" party, volunteers, active young people and members of civil society. Among them, "Clean Thursday" and Saturdays, as well as cleaning near the Sarkyrama river, restoration of historical and cultural objects and beautification of children's playgrounds are being carried out. With the active participation of the city residents, we cleaned our yard and showed our care for nature. Such events will breathe new life into our city," said Sabit Dukenbayev, deputy of the city council.

And city council deputy Dinara Raikhanova emphasized the importance of keeping nature clean and called on all residents of Kosshi to participate in keeping the city clean.

"Unfortunately, littering and pollution of nature are still common. But if we make joint efforts, we can turn the city of Koschy into a clean and beautiful city. A clean city is a good living environment. Therefore, such Saturdays should be held regularly, not just a one-day event," he said.

As part of the "Clean Kazakhstan" campaign, the parties were able to show their unity. They prepared food for the crowd and organized various entertaining events. Councilor of the Maslikhat of Koschy I.S. On the initiative of Osipova and environmental activist Shasalim Shagalimov, a competition on collecting PET bottles was held between schools. As a result, 746 kg of plastic was collected and the winning schools were awarded with cash prizes. This trend will stimulate the number of participants in city cleaning events to increase.
