On the initiative of the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the People's Republic of Kazakhstan (hereinafter referred to as the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Republic of Kazakhstan) within the framework of the implementation of the pilot project on the use of taxi aggregators in the provision of invataxi services to people with special needs, from the beginning of 2025, this service was provided 91.8 thousand times in the cities of Astana and Almaty. We will build it.

As previously reported, in order to increase the speed and quality of invataxi service, Enbekminy together with akimats decided to change the mechanism of this service. For example, citizens need to make an appointment by phone a day before receiving services, which forces them to plan their trips in advance, wait for invataxi, lack of vehicles to provide invataxi services, etc. b. There are problems.

In order to simplify the conditions, a pilot project was initiated to attract taxi aggregators who received a relevant request to participate in the provision of this service.

The main condition here is the absence of interest from the fees of trips, which are usually transferred to the benefit of aggregator platforms. The Yandex company expressed its intention to participate in the pilot project on a free basis.

Within the framework of the pilot project, citizens can use the Invataxi service through the Yandex Go mobile application. This allows the service recipient to choose a vehicle faster, track the status of the order online and monitor the trips made. In this application, accessibility screen has been activated so that people with disabilities can alert the driver about their special needs during the trip. In turn, the drivers receive special instructions, such as how to help a person get in and out of the car.

This year, the project is being implemented in pilot mode with the participation of a focus group of people with disabilities from the cities of Astana and Almaty. Scaling to other regions of the country is planned in the future.
