Chairman of the Committee of Veterinary Control and Supervision of the ASM of the Republic of Kazakhstan Kazbek Tashimov held a meeting with representatives of Boehringer Ingelheim Animal Health France. The company is one of the world leaders in the field of veterinary pharmaceuticals.

Kazbek Tashimov noted that cooperation with Boehringer Ingelheim is based on a high level of trust and gives practical results.

In 2024, a partnership agreement was signed between Boehringer Ingelheim and the Kazakh company QazBioPharm. One of the main directions of this cooperation will be the transfer of technologies for the production of vaccines against foot-and-mouth disease, which will make it possible to create localized innovative production and strengthen epizootic health both in Kazakhstan and in the Central Asian region.

The committee expressed its readiness to provide comprehensive support for the implementation of joint initiatives, including within the existing legislation, in order to strengthen the veterinary safety system in the country.

Finally, the parties confirmed their intention to develop strategic partnership on a long-term basis, striving to strengthen veterinary welfare and ensure the safety of livestock in the region.
