With the participation of the Al-Farabi district akim office, the great day of Ulys - "Nauryz holiday" was celebrated in the "Al-Farabi" square of Shymkent. Akim of the district R. Mynbayev congratulated the residents and guests of the district on their holidays and presented letters of thanks to the citizens who contributed to the development of our district.

In the yurts built on the square, the guests were served a special table and served national dishes such as baguette, kumyx-kymyran, March-kozhe, kurt, and cheese. stone-carrying, shooting, Kazakh language and hand-wrestling competitions were held, and in order to promote traditions and customs, theatrical productions such as weaving, covering bread in tapa, cooking kubi, and tying a knot were staged.

In addition, an exhibition of fashion models of Kazakh national clothes and jewelry with national motifs was organized. The great day of Ulys - the end of the Nauryz festive gathering was continued with a concert program of well-known artists.
