A meeting of the regional interdepartmental headquarters for coordination of activities aimed at combating drug addiction and drug business was held in Turkestan. At the meeting, the head of staff, deputy akim of the region, Beisenbay Tazhibayev, emphasized that this problem is complex and told the responsible heads of departments and institutions to do their work in a quality way.

N. Kudaibergen, chief specialist of the representative office of the National Center for Human Rights in Turkestan region, took part in the meeting.
