The problem of improving the quality of medical services in order to ensure the health of the residents of Auezov district and increase the efficiency of the health care system is under constant control of the city administration. Almaty Mayor Yerbolat Dosayev announced this during a meeting with residents of the district.

According to the head of the city, in April 2025, the major repair of the branch of the city clinic No. 18, located in the Taugul-3 sub-district, will be completed. Also, major repairs are being carried out in city hospital #16 along with seismic strengthening works. In May 2024, the renovation of Block B of Building No. 2 will be completed, and in June, the renovation of Building No. 1 and Block A will begin. This allows to increase the availability and quality of medical services for local residents.

In addition, a new building of the "Parasat" social service center was opened in Zhetisu-3 sub-district in February. This center with a total area of ​​1,760 square meters is equipped with modern equipment for the rehabilitation of children with special needs.

It should be noted that in 2024, three primary medical and sanitary care centers and a new reception department of the Children's Emergency Medical Center were put into operation in Almaty in Mamyr, Kemel and Nurshashkan subdistricts. Ambulance substation No. 4 is under construction. A positive expert opinion was given to the reconstruction projects of city clinical hospital No. 4, as well as clinics in Bostandyk and Nauryzbay districts.

In December 2024, a phased plan for the construction and renovation of medical facilities until 2030 was approved in cooperation with the Ministry of Health. According to the plan, 32 new healthcare facilities will be built and 14 institutions will be modernized.
