Stepnogorsk city. Investigators have two criminal cases at the request of local residents. In the first case, a city resident gave more than 30,000 tenge to a stranger when he wanted to buy children's clothes, and in the second case, a man ordered a trailer for his car and encountered Internet fraudsters. Akmola bought non-existent goods for 360,000 tenge. Interestingly, in both cases, the victims found sales ads on social media and transferred money without making sure the product was available. Another victim of the criminals was a resident of Atbasar, who wanted to buy a massager for 107,000 tenge. And a resident of the regional center transferred 150,000 tenge to the fraudsters who hacked his brother's WhatsApp messenger. The woman, who received a message about lending money from a close relative, immediately transferred the necessary amount without thinking. The police department of Kokshetau city is conducting a pre-trial investigation on this fact.
