Within the framework of the cultural year of the Turkic world, Turkic-speaking peoples are meeting in Aktau and promoting common values.

Shule Aydyn, director of the Izmir Development Institute, says that there are many similarities in the national clothes of Turks and Kazakhs. According to him, such a cultural event is very important for promoting common values. Masters who set foot in the city of Aktau for the first time are happy to get acquainted with the culture of the Kazakh nation.

- We are very happy that Aktau is the capital of the Turkic world. We brought here our handicrafts, that is, our embroidery, Turkish textiles. There are many works of art that connect our common culture with the Kazakhs. For example, our wedding dresses are similar to Kazakh clothing. Especially the embroidered silk dresses are very similar. It is a great honor for us to participate in this event on behalf of Turkey. I am coming to Aktau for the first time. We are very happy to get to know the culture of Kazakhs, - he says.

Master classes on embroidery and working with marble will be held at the Turkey House in the "Village of Masters". Any guest can take part in it and get acquainted with the national products of the Turks.

- Now there are 4 masters who give master classes to the guests who come here. They make and show Turkish national products. The cultural event of the brotherly countries gives an opportunity to see the creations of the Turkic-speaking peoples and our common values, - says Shule Aydin, director of the Izmir Development Institute.
