At the KIOSH conference, the participants are considering the actual issues of the development of the industry, such as the introduction of digital technologies in the fields of labor protection and industrial safety, new systems of personal protective equipment, labor protection management systems, as well as state and internal control.

The speakers discussed the problems of industrial enterprises and workplaces in the plenary session of the Conference, the ways to solve them, as well as the implementation of the best world practice. The conference was opened by the Minister of Labor and Social Protection of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Berdibek Saparbaev, and the Chairman of the Industrial Development and Industrial Safety Committee of the RK IIDM, Kanat Baitov.

"The main task of the Ministry of Industry and Infrastructure Development of the Republic of Kazakhstan is to ensure the safety of working conditions in hazardous production facilities of industries, to prevent harm to the health of employees, and to reduce industrial injuries. State supervision in the field of industrial safety 8 It is carried out in more than one thousand enterprises, including more than 211 thousand objects and dangerous technical devices. According to the analysis of injuries over the past five years, the number of injuries of employees belongs to the coal and mining industry, which is more than 49% of the country, - noted Kanat Baitov. Territorial authorities in cooperation with the heads of enterprises develop comprehensive technical re-equipment plans every year, within which 8663 units of equipment and 350 technological lines were replaced in the period of 2015-2018.

As a result of the measures taken, a certain tendency to reduce the level of danger of facilities and indicators of industrial injuries every year was observed. In particular, in the last five years (2014-2018), the number of deaths from industrial accidents and accidents has decreased by 2.3 times.

Regulation of the activities of officials of production control services and strengthening of their status in order to increase the role of production control of enterprises in the field of industrial safety of the Republic of Kazakhstan within the framework of the draft Law "On making changes and additions to some legislative acts of the Republic of Kazakhstan on industrial safety issues" developed by IIDM of the Republic of Kazakhstan was proposed.

Implementation of measures in this direction will allow to reduce the number of accidents and industrial injuries in dangerous industrial facilities and ensure the steady growth of the economy of our republic.
