The Anti-Corruption Agency pays special attention to ensuring the rule of law in the social sphere.

The Agency continuously carries out a range of preventive, preemptive and operational measures aimed at identifying illegal actions by officials of authorized state bodies.

Thus, the Anti-Corruption Service of the West Kazakhstan Region has completed a pre-trial investigation against the director of the State Institution "Center for Resocialization of Individuals in Difficult Life Situations under the Employment and Social Programs Department of Oral."

He is accused of embezzling budget funds totaling KZT 11.5 mln from February to December 2024 by signing fake certificates of completed work on electrical equipment repairs and paying salaries to individuals who were not actually employed at the institution.

The accused has now been brought to trial.

In accordance with Article 201 of the Criminal Procedure Code, other information is not subject to disclosure in the interest of the investigation.

According to subparagraph 1 of paragraph 3 of Article 77 of the Constitution and part 1 of Article 19 of the Criminal Procedure Code, everyone is presumed innocent until proven guilty by a court verdict that has entered into legal force.
