In the framework of the second stage of preparation for the period of flooding, visits were made to settlements at risk of flooding in Terengkol district. The work was attended by the akim of the district, as well as the deputy head of the Emergency Situations Department of Pavlodar region.

Main attention was paid to the condition of hydraulic structures, provision of forces and tools in emergency conditions, preparation of temporary population accommodation points, as well as assessment of melt water level. Specialists checked the presence of the necessary equipment, necessary equipment, evacuation plans, and the interaction of services in case of emergency situations.

These inspections not only monitor the situation in local areas, but also ensure the safety of the residents of the area, and provide an opportunity to quickly respond to possible threats.
