On the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the Great Patriotic War, a patriotic contest "Bauryzhan - a hero" dedicated to the 115th anniversary of Bauyrzhan Momyshuly, writer, hero of the Soviet Union, hero of the Kazakh people, and the famous commander, was organized. The main purpose of the competition was to introduce young people to the heroic and moral life of Baurzhan Momyshuly, to increase the patriotic spirit.

Sarkan district library director Gulnar Mukhametkaliyeva said:

"Today's competition is organized in order to commemorate our heroes who raised the victory flag in the Great Patriotic War, glorify their bravery and educate our youth to patriotism and patriotism. The life and heroism of Baurzhan Momyshuly raised the glory of the Kazakh people and is of great importance for our country. Through this event, we encourage young people to promote the legacy of our heroic ancestors and follow their great path," he noted.

Active young people of the district participated in the competition and competed in four stages. Almas Azharkhanuly, the deputy akim of the district, specially participated in the event and presented letters of thanks and valuable gifts to the winners of the competition.

This patriotic competition was an important event aimed at celebrating the heroism of Baurzhan Momyshuly and educating young people to love the country.
