The special working group created by the Ministry of Tourism and Sports will start the second stage of monitoring the sports industry in the regions of the country. The main task of this group is to check the progress of solving the problems identified in the regions last year and explain the sports reforms undertaken by the ministry in local areas.

In the first stage, the working group visited the regions, studied the state of the local sports infrastructure, collected problems and gaps in the field and presented them to the ministry. As a result, specific recommendations were sent to each region and directions for systematic work were given.

In the second stage, an analysis of how these recommendations are implemented in the regions will be made. In addition, the working group gets acquainted with the activities of sports schools, children's and youth sports schools, Olympic training centers and other institutions in the regions, and provides methodological and practical assistance if necessary.

The working group consists of 10 people. formed and divided into two directions. The group includes economists, lawyers, legal and administrative personnel, experts, sports managers and other specialists. The first group will go to Karaganda region, the second to Abai region. It is planned to work in each region for at least one week or more than ten days. In general, full coverage of 20 regions is planned by the end of the first half of the year.

Monitoring works will be carried out according to the approved schedule and agreed plan. The work is directly monitored by the Ministry of Tourism and Sports.

This work strengthens the interaction between the center and the region, allows effective implementation of reforms and development of the local level of sports on the basis of real data.

It should be noted that The working group was established by the Ministry of Tourism and Sports of the Republic of Kazakhstan in order to fulfill the tasks of the Head of State Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, systematic development of the sports industry and implementation of state initiatives.
