Grants were allocated by the Ministry of Education and Science on the instructions of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan. These grants are given only to school graduates in the categories of large families and recipients of special social assistance.

In order to participate in the competition for an education grant, documents must be submitted to the admission commissions of selected educational institutions in Almaty.

The list of education grant recipients is published in local media and on the internet resource of the Education Department of Almaty.
