Works on modernization of heating networks in Turksib district have gained momentum. The mayor of the city Yerbolat Dosayev announced this at a meeting with the residents of the district. According to him, the level of wear and tear of heating networks in the district is about 80%, so their renewal is one of the main tasks.

In 2024, the renovation of 2.1 km of heating networks was completed in two main sections: on Spassk Street (from Nursaya Street to Uritsky Street) and on Suyinbay Street (from Bekmakhanov Street to Garshin Street). These works significantly increased the reliability of heat supply in these areas and made it possible to reduce heat consumption.

In 2025, another 8.1 km of heating networks are planned to be renovated on a large scale. More specifically, the work will be carried out on Maylin Street - from Namanganskaya Street to Montazhnaya Street. Also, modernization works will be carried out along Seifullin Avenue - from Akan Seri Street to Kotelnikov Street. The works will be carried out in stages, it is planned to minimize the inconvenience to the residents.

It should be noted that the renewal of heating networks is part of the large-scale program being implemented to modernize the engineering infrastructure of Almaty.
