RK CHAMPIONSHIP IN CYCLING BEGINS IN KYZYLORDA

Today in Kyzylorda, the opening ceremony of the multi-day RK Cup among men and the multi-day RK Championship among junior boys and girls in highway cycling was held in Kyzylorda.

At the opening ceremony, the deputy akim of Kyzylorda region Shahmardan Baimanov, the head of the physical training, sports and tourism department of Kyzylorda region Bakhtiyar Artaev, general secretary of the cycling sports federation of Kazakhstan, Zhetes Suleymenov, honored coach of the Republic of Kazakhstan, sports veterans and media representatives took part.

Deputy akim of the region Shakhmardan Askaruly, who spoke at the event, wished success to the participants of the competition and expressed confidence in the high-level competition. I believe that today's flag competition is also very important for cyclists. As you know, in recent years special priority has been given to the promotion of sports infrastructures at the initiative of the head of the region. Accordingly, since the beginning of the year, with the participation of the head of the region, about 10 state-of-the-art sports complexes have been handed over to the nation in the regional center and districts. Another historical moment in the development of the sports industry of the region took place today. Public fund "Kazakhstan Khalkyna" and Kyzylorda Oblast administration entered into a tripartite memorandum. Thanks to that, today, with the participation of the head of the region, the foundation of the fitness and recreation complex was laid on the left bank of the city of Kyzylorda. We believe that through dynamic development of sports, our athletes will achieve great success in world arenas. I wish all participants good luck! Also, a veteran of the sports industry made a speech and wished the athletes victory.

13 teams from the region and cities will compete in this competition. The winners of the competition will be determined on April 13.
