Kazakhstan's capital is ready to host world-class musical and cultural events. Malik Hasenov, the producer of the Astana Concert company, told about the preparation for the concert of the world-famous singer Jennifer Lopez and the large international festivals that will be held in the summer as planned.

According to the speaker, the Astana Concert company will participate in major events in the field of music in 2024-2025 - the MIDEM forum held in Cannes, as well as the International live Music conference in London. 

"We studied how the international show business market works. Having worked in Moscow for seven years, we know how the Russian show business market is built. We want to organize a concert of this level in Kazakhstan. After the pandemic, with all market opportunities available, we have established direct contact with several promotions. The concert of the world-famous singer Jennifer Lopez is the result of these negotiations," said Malik Hasenov at a press conference. 

He reminded that on August 1, the concert of world star Jennifer Lopez will be held at Astana Arena stadium. 

"This is a world-class "A" singer. In the history of the country's independence, a commercial concert of this level will be held for the first time. Various stars came to us, but we must openly admit that such a concert has become a historical success. Because it is very difficult to catch a star on tour. "We announced the news on our social media page only after the official confirmation of Jennifer Lopez's concert tour manager," the speaker shared.

Also, this year, on July 13, the "ALEM FEST" open format music festival will be organized at the "Astana Arena" stadium. The headliner of the evening will be the well-known singer Craig David, as well as a number of Kazakh and Russian performers, such as Sadraddin, rapper Alem, Elka, IOWA, Band 'Eros, Dominic Joker, DJ Groove. 

"Also, for the first time, a very interesting DJ project will be organized, which we will keep secret for now. I think it will be one of the brightest events in world event tourism. Drones are planned to fly in the sky after the festival. The show is organized by one of the largest companies of Aspan Galaxy. Such events attract tourists," said Malik Hasenov. 

The speaker also spoke about the economic impact of J. Lo's concert. According to him, about 15 thousand tourists and HoReCa system (hotels, restaurants, cafes) are expected to receive more than 6.5 billion tenge. 

"If all the tickets are sold, 400 million tenge will be transferred to the city budget at the same time. These are direct taxes of concert organizers. We believe that Astana is ready to host such large-scale events," the company's producer concluded.
