D. within the Science Week. The XI International Conference was held at Serikbayev State Technical University. Students, graduate students, doctoral students and young researchers participated in the conference "Youth Creativity - Innovative Development of Kazakhstan". The purpose of the event is comprehensive support of young scientists, development of their potential, exchange of knowledge and experience, establishment of professional contacts.
Akim of SKO Nurymbet Saktaganov congratulated the participants of the conference and presented letters of thanks to a number of scientists.
- I congratulate you on the Day of Science and wish you a successful and creative Science Week! East Kazakhstan region is one of the most innovative regions in the country, the head of the region said. - Our scientists are developing promising directions, creating new materials and technologies. They actively involve students and young colleagues in research projects, and make a great contribution to the development of the region and the country.
He expressed confidence that the further development of science and innovation will contribute to attracting investments to the region, creating new jobs and improving the quality of life of the population.
It should be noted that the scientists of SKTU are currently implementing projects in additive manufacturing, innovations in materials processing, geo-information systems and many other fields. Some of these projects were presented during the conference.
- As a young scientist, I have been actively participating in the Science Week. My project is called "Improving the wear resistance of sliding shutter contact surfaces". The basis of my project is the use of various welding materials, - said associate professor, PhD Riza Gabdysalyk.
He said that today the state offers young researchers all the opportunities to engage in scientific work.
- I won the republican competition and received state funding to continue my work in postdoctoral studies, - said the young scientist.
D. Saule Rakhmetullina, rector of Serikbayev State Technical University, noted that in addition to grant funding, measures to support scientists include free housing provided by the state, discounted mortgages, and scientific internships that allow establishing contacts with foreign colleagues.
