In the framework of the 80th anniversary of the Great Victory, a presentation of a large-scale exposition book exhibition on the theme "Courage is a heritage for the country, a motto for the generation" was held. The eight-part exhibition presents historical data, literary and artistic works and rare publications that reveal the secrets of the war years.

- Today's exhibition is an eternal monument of heroism and bravery. This is an instructive way of reviving our great history and conveying the spirit of our men who defended the country to the younger generation. Such measures are especially important in terms of introducing the country's history to the younger generation and forming a sense of patriotism.  I would like to note that the press played a special role during the Great Patriotic War. Frontline newspapers and mass media published in those years inspired the soldiers and contributed to maintaining unity within the country. These publications were not only a source of information, but also a spiritual pillar that connected people's hopes. Through this exhibition, we will strengthen the continuity of generations, boundless love for the motherland, and respect for history, - noted Zhanylgul Adilbekovyna, the head of the rare publications department of the Abay regional universal library. It consisted of sections called "Library", "Art of war", "In the periodical press pages of the Russian Academy of Sciences". During the event, the participants showed special interest in the memories of veterans, articles of front-line writers. The exhibition presented information about the bravery and creativity of 125 Kazakh writers who were at the front, including Baurzhan Momyshuly, Adi Sharipov, Kassym Kaysenov, Azilkhan Nurshaikov and Kassym Amanzholov.

- Today we participated in the historical exhibition dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the Victory, and thoroughly understood the difficult fate of our people in those difficult years, the periods full of courage and endurance. deeper acquaintance. The exhibition is organized at a very impressive and informative level. Participating in such an educational event was not only an opportunity for us to get acquainted with historical data, but also a unique way to absorb the morals of the past, - shared his impression, student of M.
