On the occasion of the 70th anniversary of the city of Kentau, a contest of grandmothers, who became a blessing to every household, was held in the palace of culture named after Sh. Kaldayakov. The main goal of the competition was to convey the goodness of our grandmothers, who were the source of our national value, the beginning of education, to the younger generation and widely promote our forgotten traditions. For example, they staged forgotten traditions and answered the judges' questions. Skills and art were also differentiated. Our noble grandmothers shared what they learned from life. Our grandmothers sang and danced. The competition was very interesting and held at its own level.

According to the results of the competition, grandmother Ayzada Saginbekova won the first place, grandmother Urzada Kuralbaeva took the second place, and grandmother Oral Abisheva took the third place. Grandmothers who took an active part in the competition of fair grandmothers called "Dasturim balkaymagi" were awarded with special nominations and prizes.
