At the initiative of the Police Department of Kostanay region and the regional prosecutor's office, a youth forum was held in the "Youth Palace" cultural center under the name "Youth. Energy. Future". The main topic of the meeting was the prevention of drug addiction and crime among young people.

The event gathered about a thousand pupils and students from various educational institutions of the city and was an important platform for an open dialogue between young people and representatives of state structures.

Before the main program, the forum participants took part in a special exhibition featuring special equipment, a forensic laboratory and military weapons. All this clearly showed how the Police Department is conducting the fight against drug crime in the region.

The central part of the event was attended by Yerlan Faizullin, head of the PD of Kostanay region, Baurzhan Bekbosynov, the first deputy prosecutor of the region, chairman of the specialized inter-district court for criminal cases Zholdybay Metaev, head of the regional akim's office, M.A. Alfiya Musabaeva, first vice-rector of Kostanay Social and Technical University named after Z. Aldamzhar Dastan Bekov, psychologist-narcologist of the regional mental health center Gulsim Bisimbaeva participated. Speakers of the event shared the statistics of offenses related to illegal drug trafficking, reminded of the age limits and terms of criminal responsibility for such crimes. They also talked about the harmful effects of drugs on the human body and the possible negative consequences of their use.

During the open dialogue, students were active by asking important and relevant questions: what measures are taken to fight drugs, how everyone can participate in the prevention of drug addiction, and what are the legal consequences for breaking the law in this area. possession, regardless of their number, is always considered a crime. All prize-winners were awarded with souvenirs and diplomas.

Also, civil activists who voluntarily shot anti-drug films and social videos were noted: Anuar Bukabaev, head of the Workspace video studio, author of the film "Drug Courier" and Ilyas Kapanov, who shot 5 social videos on the anti-drug topic.

Forum, combining the efforts of authorities, educational institutions and active youth, It became an important event in the public life of Kostanay. He showed that only joint work and open dialogue can help effectively fight the drug threat and create a responsible generation.
