Akim of SKO Zhambyl district - Azamat Bektasov chaired a meeting on issues of preparation for spring planting.

Heads of agricultural enterprises, mayors of rural districts, heads of local and territorial executive bodies, representatives of financial organizations of the region, representative of agricultural experiment station, representatives of companies supplying agricultural equipment, chemical means of plant protection, and media workers participated in the meeting.

sowing of agricultural crops - 303.7 thousand ha area is provided. within the framework of diversification, the socially important crop-buckwheat area will be increased to 2.1 thousand hectares.

4.4 thousand tons of light diesel fuel was allocated for spring planting. 22.8 thousand tons of mineral fertilizers are planned.

The akim of the district emphasized the need to carry out the sowing campaign in the optimal agrotechnical period. Also, he instructed to carry out timely procedures for the inspection of seeds, conclusion of contracts for the purchase of mineral fertilizers, special control over the issue of timely dispatch and delivery of diesel fuel, and to ensure 100% readiness of the equipment.
