The Minister of Tourism and Sports of the Republic of Kazakhstan Yerbol Myrzabosynov visited the city of Aktau on a working visit and familiarized himself with the state of the sports infrastructure in the region. As part of the visit, the minister visited the sports facility and witnessed the work being done in the direction of the development of the sports industry.

The minister visited the BS ARENA modern sports complex, which was commissioned in 2023. The complex with a total area of ​​11,000 m² is a great opportunity for city residents and athletes. Various sports competitions and training sessions are held here.

On the territory of the sports complex there is a large football and futsal field, a tennis court, as well as an administrative building for a sports school for children and teenagers. In the indoor part, there are volleyball, basketball, swimming sections and a gym. The main direction of the sports complex is aimed at the development of sports such as football, mini-football, and basketball. Today, about 600 children and teenagers are regularly engaged in sports in the complex.

Yerbol Myrzabosynov gave a positive assessment of the pace of development of sports infrastructure in the region and noted the need to expand the network of sports facilities in the future. He also said that attracting young people to mass sports is a strategically important direction for the state.
