Another city-wide weekend was held in Uskemen. Citizens, representatives of state institutions, employees of public utility services, entrepreneurs and private companies took part in cleaning the streets, yards and adjacent areas.

In total, 2757 people took part in the event. The amount of garbage removed exceeded 719 cubic meters.

This time, special attention was paid to the cleaning of yards, parks, recreation facilities and areas approved for organizations. Participants collected dead leaves and garbage, cut branches, cleaned curbs and sidewalks. In order to remove the waste in time, the equipment worked in an intensified mode.

One of the bright events of Saturday was the environmental campaign "Clean Games". This is a team competition aimed not only at cleaning the urban area, but also at increasing environmental literacy among young people and adults.

21 teams took part in the event - a total of 80 active and indifferent participants. They competed not only in the speed of collecting garbage, but also in sorting it and showing a conscious attitude. As a result, 280 bags of garbage, 186 kg of bulky waste, 265 kg of old tires were collected.
