The Karaganda region ranks among the top three in the country in terms of online sales. The development of e-commerce will continue. To do this, the regional akimat signed a memorandum with the first domestic Teez marketplace. Already, about 40 Kazakhstani commodity producers are registered on its site. The goal is to jointly create favorable conditions for the sale of domestic products.

– With the opening of the marketplace in Karaganda, great opportunities have appeared for local producers. We initially agreed on the promotion and support of domestic products. We will work together. First of all, it is the creation of new jobs in the region," said Akim of the region Ermaganbet Bulekpayev.

The Teez marketplace features a unique model in which all goods are located in one central hub in Karaganda, processed from here and delivered throughout Kazakhstan in one day.

Linar Khusnullin, the co–founder of Teez, presented the ambitious project "Karaganda - the center of electronic commerce of Kazakhstan".

– Karaganda is an ideal place for such a business. It is important to develop cooperation with local suppliers," says the entrepreneur.

He spoke about the special conditions provided for the sale and promotion of goods under the "Made in Kazakhstan" brand. These are special selections, reduced commission, and preferential promotion.

The project includes an extensive program to train Kazakhstani e-commerce entrepreneurs and create a community. Multiplatform conferences will be organized, the first one is planned to be held on April 23. A coworking club will be opened for sellers and producers to interact.

– The memorandum signed today determines the work in the direction that as many local producers as possible are involved in this electronic platform. To date, 38 products made in Kazakhstan are sold on the marketplace. This is just the beginning. Those who deal with household chemicals and offer national clothes are represented. Work is currently underway on processors," said Irina Lyubarskaya, Head of the Entrepreneurship Department.
