On 7-11 April, 2025, Karaganda city hosted the Republican School Olympiad in the Russian language and literature, the Russian language in schools with the Kazakh language of instruction among 9th to 11th graders.

The goals and objectives of the Olympiad were to develop creative abilities of students, deepen their theoretical knowledge and practical skills, promote self-realization, and create conditions for identifying gifted learners.

The winners of the regional round of the Olympiad competed in the final round.

Following the results of the final round of the Republican School Olympiad, Kira Sidorenko, an 11th grader of Gymnasium No. 10 of Ust-Kamenogorsk city was awarded Second Degree Diploma of the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan and a silver medal (the Russian language and literature).

Third Degree Diploma and a bronze medal went to Syrym Dauletkanov, an 11th grader of Bilim-Innovation East Kazakhstan Regional Specialized Lyceum for Gifted Children of Ust-Kamenogorsk city (the Russian language in schools with the Kazakh language of instruction).

Leisure and sports events, psychological trainings, as well as city tours were organized for the participants of the Olympiad in Karaganda city.
