In line with the instruction of the Head of State, the Anti-Corruption Agency continues its efforts to uphold the principles of law and order in society, as well as to suppress acts of corruption.

The Zhanaozen City Court of the Mangystau Region has delivered a verdict against the former director of LLP "Kazakh Gas Processing Plant," B.A. Baishuakov.

B.A. Baishuakov was found guilty of embezzling company property on a large scale by illegally selling it without holding an auction and appropriating the proceeds.

He was sentenced to 4 years of imprisonment and permanently banned from holding positions in public service and quasi-public sector entities.

The court ruling has not yet entered into legal force.

In accordance with subparagraph 1 of paragraph 3 of Article 77 of the Constitution and part 1 of Article 19 of the Criminal Procedure Code, every person is presumed innocent until proven guilty by a court verdict that has entered into legal force.
