17th Silk Road Tax Forum»

         On April 10–11, 2025, in Tbilisi, Georgia, the Kazakh delegation led by Deputy Chairman of the State Revenue Committee Seilzhan Akhmetov participated in the 17th Silk Road Tax Forum organized by the International Tax and Investment Center in cooperation with the Ministry of Finance of Georgia.

        The purpose of the forum was to discuss recent developments in tax policy and administration across Eurasian countries and to exchange international experiences and best practices in addressing current tax issues.

        During the forum’s second session titled "Policy and Administration of Indirect Taxes," Deputy Chairman Seilzhan Akhmetov and Deputy Head of the Remote Monitoring Department, Yelaman Yesbenbetov, delivered presentations highlighting ongoing tax reforms, including the implementation of digital solutions.

       The Republic of Kazakhstan plays a key role in fostering tax cooperation across the Eurasian region and continues to strengthen partnerships within the framework of the “Silk Road of Taxation,” contributing significantly to the development of a sustainable and transparent tax environment in the region.
