A meeting of the council of the regional APK was held in Karaganda, where they discussed how to make the anniversary year not only festive, but also meaningful in content. The focus is on the role of youth, the development of volunteerism and scientific initiatives.

Akim of the region Ermaganbet Bulekpayev noted that the APK today is not just a symbol of interethnic harmony, but a real instrument of dialogue between society and the state.

The Assembly of the People of Kazakhstan of the Karaganda region has made a significant contribution to strengthening national unity. Among its ranks are holders of orders and medals, noted for their active social work.

— One of the key events of this year, along with the 80th anniversary of the Victory and the 30th anniversary of the Constitution of the country, will be the 30th anniversary of the Assembly of People of Kazakhstan. During this time, the APK has established itself as a unique public institution that promotes the strengthening of national unity and dialogue between the state and society. The Karaganda Assembly has played a significant role in the development of the region," said Ermaganbet Bulekpayev.

APK representatives spoke about the ongoing projects and stressed that it is especially important to attract young people today. «Zhastary Assembly» works to create a culture of tolerance, promote traditional values, and engage in public life.

Youth is seen as a driver of new initiatives. Ermaganbet Bulekpayev noted that young people should be represented in every ethno-cultural association.

It is from her that modern ideas and initiatives should come. The task of the local executive authority is to provide comprehensive support to young people.

The scientific work of the APK was also touched upon at the meeting. A conference dedicated to Alimkhan Ermekov will be held in Karaganda this year. The Assembly also actively participates in volunteer actions, supports charity projects and creates a dialogue between generations.

— In 30 years, the Assembly has gone beyond its original mission. Today she is engaged in volunteering, charity, and social support. When there were floods last year, the APK was the first to come to the rescue. Recently, the House of Friendship hosted a dialogue between aksakals and youth. This shows that the Assembly has become a platform for intergenerational interaction," said Rustam Buzyakov, a member of the APK scientific expert group. — Peace and stability in the country are the result of her many years of work.

At the end of the meeting, commemorative medals were awarded to public figures and representatives of ethno-cultural associations.

The chairman of the Greek Cultural Center from Temirtau, Despina Kasapidi, said:

— We used to be separate, but today we are one big family. This is the power of the Assembly.
