Over 500 families were created in Kazakhstan on Valentine's Day
Valentine's Day is celebrated annually in Kazakhstan on April 15. The RAGS departments of the Government for Citizens State Corporation received more than half a thousand applications for marriage registration on that day. Almaty, Astana and Turkestan region became the leaders in the number of registrations.
By the way, in the 1st quarter of 2025, 23,835 marriages were registered in Kazakhstan. At the same time, Almaty, Astana and the Turkestan region also accounted for the largest number of registrations out of the total number.
We remind you that you can apply for marriage registration in Kazakhstan through the departments of the RAGS, the e-government portal and applications of second-tier banks. Government agencies will review the application within 1 business day and registration will be scheduled in 15 days at the selected Registry Office. If the registration date falls on a non-working day or a public holiday, it will be automatically postponed to the next business day.
