The Cathedral in Karaganda is a traditional gathering place for organ music lovers. This year's concert season starts on April 27. The program has already been formed before September: organists from different countries are expected to perform – Kazakhstan, Austria, the Czech Republic, Russia and Germany.

On April 27, Asel Smagulova, an organist from Astana, winner of international competitions, will be pleased with her playing skills. She is well known to the Karaganda public, she has performed here many times already.

Among the announced foreign guests are Franz Reitner and Angelika Kirtz from Austria, Jezabek Tomas from the Czech Republic, Vincent de Paul from Germany.

Admission to all organ concerts is free. It starts at the same time at 15:00.

The Cathedral of the Blessed Virgin Mary of Fatima, Mother of All Nations, is located at 32 Shakhterov Ave.

The organ for the cathedral in Karaganda was made by the Austrian company Pfluger. It contains 32 registers, 1,974 metal pipes and 128 wooden pipes – a total of 2,102 pipes. The instrument is positioned so that the sound fills all corners of the room.
