KazAID at the international forum ‘Global Circle of Communication’

10-11 April 2025, Taraz - KazAID took part in the international forum ‘Global Circle of Communication’, organised by the National Volunteer Network and the Ministry of Culture and Information of the Republic of Kazakhstan on the basis of the International Taraz University named after Sherkhan Murtaza (ITU).

📩 The aim of the forum was to exchange experience and develop international co-operation in the field of volunteering. More than 70 representatives from Kazakhstan, Azerbaijan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan participated in the event.

In her online speech, the Chairperson of the Civil Society Committee of the ICC RK Sultanova G.B. emphasised the importance of international cooperation. Rector of ITU, Professor Sarybekov M.N., shared his experience in the field of youth policy and reminded that on the initiative of the President of RK 2026 was declared by the UN as the International Year of Volunteers.

📌KazAID was represented at the forum by project manager Tuimebekova A.K., who spoke at the panel session about the agency's programmes aimed at sustainable and inclusive development, as well as about cooperation with the NCA within the framework of the Memorandum signed in February 2024.

At the end of the forum, the participants planted trees near MTU as a sign of friendship, and also made a tour of Taraz, where they visited the monument to volunteers, the Museum of Ancient Taraz, Tekturmas, mausoleums of Aisha-bibi and Karakhan and other attractions of the city.
